Ad Campaign And In-Store Product Sampling

Maille is a range of gourmet mustards that originates from France but that is now a subsidiary of the multinational consumer goods company Unilever. Click here to read more about Maille.
Task at hand
Maille wanted to increase their brand awareness, and boost sales at their retail stockists nationwide.
Outcomes
Red Herring Studio designed a campaign for Maille and produced a series of ads that were placed in the Pick n Pay Fresh Living and Woolworths TASTE magazines. We also managed the full roll out of in-store product samplings at the top 50 Pick n Pay stores nationwide, as well as a selection of Woolworths stores. This included the production of recipe leaflets and discount vouchers, as well as running of competitions.
As a result of the exercise, Maille’s sales skyrocketed, plus Red Herring Studio was accoladed with an award from Pick n Pay and subsequently became the only independent company that is permitted to conduct in-store tastings in any Woolworths store.
